Dad tell me your story journal
A family treasure

Dad loved to tell me the story about a time he went to move the bull they had from one side of the field to the other side.  He grabbed the chain that was attached to the bull’s nose, wrapped it around his wrist, and gave it a yank to get the bull to move.  The bull took off through the corn field, dragging my dad with him.

These are the types of stories your dad can write on these pages.  Click on the book cover to be taken to Amazon.

Mom, tell me your story journal cover
A great family heirloom

One story my mother told me was about a time her father (my grandfather) asked her to change the flat tire on the car.  He got it fixed, he tried to put the fixed tire back on, but her dad could not get the wheel off.  He asked her what she did.   She said, “You told me to put it on tight, so I stood on the tire iron to make sure it was tight.”  He shook his head at her and got a sledgehammer to hit the tire iron to loosen the lug nuts. Have your mom share stories from her life on the pages of this prompt journal.

Grandma share your story journal
A keepsake for generations

Grandma, shared a story about getting caught  showing off her bloomers behind the barn when she was in her youth.

Grandma???  She just said it was a long time ago.

This journal has prompts to ask about your grandmother’s stories of her life that you may not even know.

A pic of a journal for Grandpa to tell his story
A place to share your life

Grandpa told a story about going out to get honey from his bee hive with a friend.  Back then, he did not have any kind of special clothing or netting to protect them.  Everything was fine until his friend accidentally bumped into the beehive.  The bees swarmed and started chasing them.  He made it into the house, but the bees chased his friend a mile into town.

You will have fun finding out what kind of stories your grandfather has to share.  gift this journal to him.
